Something easy for the summer.. Make it your own

Optional Sandwich items
Brioche Buns
Cabbage Slaw /Lettuce Slaw
BBQ Sauce
Shredded Chicken
Pickles Chips or Chopped Pickles
Chopped Onions / Pickled Onions
Pickled Jalapenos Slices
Pimento Peppers
PepperJack Cheese
Mayo
Ingredients (4 sandwiches)
Brioche buns
Chicken & Rub
2 large chicken breasts
avocado oil
paprika
smoked paprika
onion powder
garlic powder
salt
seasoning salt
black pepper
hickory smoke
cayenne pepper
or
brown sugar
your favorite BBQ sauce
Salt
Steps
Season/apply wet rub to the chicken breast
Grill or bake to medium well, try not to dry out the chicken
Allow to cool for 10 minutes
shred by hand or fork
In a saute in a pan set to medium heat
add chicken
2 Tbsp water, stir for 3 minutes to finish cooking
6oz cup bbq sauce (depending on how saucy you want it) - add to sandwich later
stir for 5 mins- medium heat
Make sure thechicken absorbs the sauce, but don't overcookin and dry it out.
Toast buns
Cooking oil spray - spray directly on the inside of the buns
Add the buns face down flat pan-, preferably cast iron non stick set to medium heat.
Cabbage Slaw
Chop cabbage finely (1/4 large cabbage)
Toss with:
4 Tbsp Mayo
3 Tbsp white wine vinegar
1 Tbsp salt
2 Tbsp sugar
Black pepper
celery salt (optional)
paprika (optional)
shredded carrot (optional)
Assemble and Add more sauce as desired.
